Sanabria, Washington announced as Sun Conference Players of the Week

MIAMI, Fla. – Florida Memorial’s Aubrey Washington and Keiser’s Antigone Sanabria have been named the Sun Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Players of the Week for the week ending Dec. 6.    

Sun Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week  
Aubrey Washington – Florida Memorial – SR – Jacksonville, Florida
 

Washington led the Lions to a big Sun Conference win over visiting Webber International University this past week, scoring a game-high 23 points (knocking down 5-of-9 from three-point range) while also adding 4 rebounds and 3 assists. 

This is Washington’s first TSC weekly award of the season and the first of his career. 

Sun Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week 
Antigonie Sanabria – Keiser – JR – Milan, Ohio 

Sanabria had back-to-back 21-point games to lead the Seahawks to a perfect week while moving back to .500 in conference play. She also had her first double-double of the year. 

This is Sanabria’s first TSC weekly award of the season and the first of her career.
