TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | The Florida A&M Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced a virtual Town Hall set for 5 p.m. on Friday, June 12.

FAMU VP/Director of Athletics Kortne Gosha will host the panel, which includes Head Football Coach Willie Simmons, Head Men’s Basketball Coach Robert McCullum and new Head Women’s Basketball Coach Shalon Pillow.

The Town Hall will provide an overview of athletics and the strategic plan moving forward as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic including the return of student-athletes back to campus and the plan for the upcoming 2020 football season. As the state of the nation changes during this pandemic, we want to be cautious and strategic in bringing our student-athletes back to ensure their safety. The discussion will also include details regarding the future conference re-alignment to the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).
