The hashtag itself started well before this weekend, but on Sunday afternoon it took off.
Last month, NFL players used #WeWantToPlay as a cry to get back on the field. The cry has been taken up by another groups
College athletes, specifically football players, across the country are letting their feelings be known. The most prominent of which has been Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
